Sam calls it the Funny Show. Well tonight on the Funny Show they had a quick series of video’s showing kids getting their baby teeth pulled out in funny ways. Sam thought it was really funny until he asked if he was going to lose his teeth. I said yes he would some day. He was fine with that until it sunk in that he was going to lose them some day.

Sam sat there a bit and finally looked up a little teary eyed and asked, ‘Dad, you’re not going to try and pull my teeth out like those mean Dads? Are you?’ I said no, we’ll let them fall out naturally. He seemed a little better after I assured him I wouldn’t do that. But no less than 15 seconds I made Sam feel better he turned to Evan and said, ‘Evan, you’re going to lose your teeth someday and it’s going to bleed and hurt a little bit. Too bad.’

He then turned back to his toys as if nothing happened. What a great big brother.
