Dad’s little helper…
Posted by: | CommentsEvan wanted to make sure he helped with the construction of the new add-on to the swingset. So when I had to bring some more wood to the back yard, he was right there helping too.
Well it finally happened…
Posted by: | CommentsMornings with Sam are anything but boring. You can almost set a clock to hear his door open at 6:15am to go to the bathroom, then peek in our room to see what’s happening, and then shut his door. Only to hear his door open two minutes later, just to see what’s not happening so early in the morning. Well this morning he decided to visit his little brother. I bet Sam and Evan went back forth with some form of a conversation for a good 10 minutes today. And at 6:29am I heard a door open and the sounds of Sam’s feet running into the kitchen. What I didn’t expect to hear was Evan’s feet running into the kitchen too.
I told Holly that Evan was in the kitchen. She bolted up asked if I was serious. I said yes, so she got up and walked into the kitchen to see if it was true. Sure enough, there was Sam and Evan playing with some toys in the kitchen. You see Sam ‘helped’ his little brother get out of his crib. Sam was so proud that he gave us a play by play recap about how he showed Evan how to get his leg over the top of his crib, climb over, and then ‘help’ him down by “holding his butt so he didn’t fall”.
Thanks Sam, our mornings will never be the same.
