The best present this year…
Posted by: | CommentsI have to say this was my favorite present this year. Not because it’s a Lego Santa Yoda (because that’s cool enough alone). But because Sam gave this to me from his heart. He got this on one of his advent days, but remembered how cool I thought it was. So he decided to give it to me instead for Christmas. Gifts from the heart will just about trump anything. Thanks Sam!
Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!
New holiday tradition…
Posted by: | CommentsThe new way to keep kids occupied while they wait for Christmas… Angry Birds.
A couple of Christmas ideas…
Posted by: | CommentsHolly has been bugging me, because everyone has been bugging her, on some ideas for Christmas.
Lens cap holder. One of the small things I didn’t think was a big deal until I started to do more and more photography.

Lens for your iPhone. Seems kind of weird when I have a nice camera, but there are times when I only have my iPhone with me. The best camera is sometimes the one you have with you.

NCIS. Ask Holly about this sometime and she’ll give you a quick answer about whether or not she’s seen an episode or two with me. Looking for Season 7, 8, or 9.
12 QT mixing bowl… just to mix stuffing. Ok, Holly could use it too. But she’ll have to ask really, really nice.

The dream item….
Canon 580 EX II Speedlite flash. Some day, some way.
Christmas 2010…
Posted by: | CommentsSam and I went out to get our Christmas cards ordered tonight. One of the twists we’ve recently had with our spunky 5y old is the occasional desire to be called Samuel, instead of Sam. So tonight as he ‘helped’ me get the cards ordered he asked that I put ‘Samuel’ on the card instead of Sam.
So this year’s card can be considered to be Sam’s Christmas card.
How I spent my Christmas…
Posted by: | CommentsA special thank you…
Posted by: | CommentsAs we wrap up this white Christmas weekend, a special thank you goes out to my wife Holly. She put in the effort to put together another wonderful Christmas for all us. Thank you for having the patience to put up with the boys (sometimes all 3 of them) when you were doing your baking. Thank you for making sure the rest of us were enjoying ourselves, even when you were the one who needed a rest. And thank you for the planning and preparations you did to make this all seem so easy.
Holly, as we wind down this holiday season, please remember this one last thing… it’s someone else’s turn next year.
Love, all your family.
