Sometimes the immovable object wins…
Posted by: | CommentsEvan tried to open the truck door with his face. He didn’t do a very good job.
A couple of Christmas ideas…
Posted by: | CommentsHolly has been bugging me, because everyone has been bugging her, on some ideas for Christmas.
Lens cap holder. One of the small things I didn’t think was a big deal until I started to do more and more photography.

Lens for your iPhone. Seems kind of weird when I have a nice camera, but there are times when I only have my iPhone with me. The best camera is sometimes the one you have with you.

NCIS. Ask Holly about this sometime and she’ll give you a quick answer about whether or not she’s seen an episode or two with me. Looking for Season 7, 8, or 9.
12 QT mixing bowl… just to mix stuffing. Ok, Holly could use it too. But she’ll have to ask really, really nice.

Halloween 2011
Posted by: | CommentsIt’s been a Star Wars kind of year, so it was natural that the evil Empire would rear its ugly head for the biggest day of make believe of the year.
Evan Birthday Pics
Posted by: | CommentsEvan’s birthday is a basic review of what’s been the popular topic this year – Star Wars. Star Wars cake, Star Wars cookies, Star Wars plates, and Star Wars presents.
Did I mention the boys like Star Wars?

Saturday afternoon at the library…
Posted by: | CommentsWhile Holly was running in the half marathon, I took the boys to the library for a Halloween event. Sam got picked for one of the demonstrations.
Way to go Holly!
Posted by: | CommentsWe all went out to cheer Holly on this morning. Holly joined 1500 other runners for the 1/2 marathon as part of the Mankato Marathon.
Science experiment…
Posted by: | CommentsThe second science class with Sam was on chemistry. In this experiment, called Elephant Toothpaste, allowed all the kids to play with chemicals and reactions.
Science class for Sam and Dad…
Posted by: | CommentsSam and I are taking a science class together. The class is over 3 Tuesdays and we’ll study physics, chemistry and biology. Last night was the first night and we used Legos to study physics. Trying to break down potential and kinetic energy to rubber bands and watching a Lego car go almost 10′ was a definitely a challenge. Looking forward to next week… we get to blow @#%& up!
The ‘other’ first day of school day pics…
