Not my idea…
Posted by: | CommentsThere are times Holly wonders why I let Sam or Evan do certain things. This was not one of them. This was all Holly.
The way to start a day…
Posted by: | CommentsWe saw a rainbow this morning and what was Sam’s first thought on seeing it?
“Dad, look. The rainbow, it’s like a giant force field over the earth!”
Yes Sam, yes it does.
Another first…
Posted by: | CommentsHolly used the ‘Do you want me to get your Dad’ threat for the first time tonight after Sam got in trouble.
Meteor shower update…
Posted by: | CommentsNo pics or drama from seeing the Perseid meteor shower last night with Sam because we didn’t see the meteor shower last night. Storms blew in just about 1am and stuck around until about 4am.
How do I know we had storms at those times? Because at 1am is when Lucy started to freak out and it was about 4am when I was able to get back to sleep after checking the radar at 3am. I’m guessing there may be a quick nap in store for me this evening before I go out to capture some final pics for the Mankato calendar contest.
New seating arrangements…
Posted by: | CommentsWe went out to eat tonight and we had a first time event occur. Sam and Evan wanted to sit next to each other more than they wanted to sit next to me or Holly. Holly and I sat there a little dumbfounded when we finally got everyone situated.
So how soon are they embarrassed to be seen with us in public?
Karma at it’s best…
Posted by: | CommentsSam: ‘Dad, where did you put my sandals?’
Me: ‘I didn’t touch them. Are they by the patio door?’
Sam: Slowly trudges over to the door and begins to say, ‘Dad they’re not…’
Sam can’t complete his sentence because he tripped over the sandals he was looking for. The universe is already conspiring against him today.
Here’s the embedded version…
Posted by: | CommentsGreat video/minor glitch
Posted by: | CommentsWhile I normally post videos I take, for some reason I cannot get the embed to work. Go figure… the computer genius can’t get his own website to work. Well to distract you from that little thorn of irony, here’s what happens when the tables get turned early on a Monday: [Link].
For the record…
Posted by: | CommentsFor the record, I was NOT the first parent to buy one of our sons a toy gun. This was all Holly’s doing. Honest!
