Doing my part…
Posted by: | CommentsHow do I know I’m doing a good job at being a father? Sam was able to recite, in order, all the Star Wars movies to Evan. Sam could even give his little brother a small synopsis of each movie.

Not being bored…

I’m always amazed how the boys can sometimes come up from the basement or from their room and say, ‘I’m bored’. Well I now have proof that kids can find entertainment anywhere. We were getting ready our attempt to break the Diet Coke/Mentos world record (which we didn’t) and Sam was starting to get bored. No less than 2 minutes after we started to wait, he found something to do. Proof that kids can find something to do just about anywhere.
Now the trick will be convincing them.

It’s official…
Posted by: | CommentsWith me and the kids being gone last week, Holly got to catch up on the grocery shopping. Or so she thought. We started a fresh gallon of milk Friday evening when we all got home. By this morning (Sunday) we had to start a new one. So it’s official. We have a new record for milk consumption in our house. One gallon of milk in less than 36 hours. Yeah!
Sam and Evan think it’s cool they helped set a ‘record’. Holly was hoping for something a little more constructive, like longest streak of no one peeing on the floor or saying the word ‘poop’ or ‘fart’.
Maybe we’ll work on one of those next time.
