Getting sneakier as they get older…

Sam really didn’t want to take a bath tonight.  Not sure why, but he made it clear that bath time wasn’t on his agenda for the evening.  So after getting back from the grocery store he disappeared into his room for a little while.  Holly started to collect things for bath time and called for Sam to let him know he was going to have a bath pretty soon.  He comes out of his room and said it was too late for him to take a bath.  Holly asked why and looks up to see Sam already in his PJ’s.  Sam tried to reason with Holly that since he was already dressed for bed, he couldn’t take a bath, because then he’d have to get out of his PJ’s.  Any why would anyone need to get out of there PJ’s before bedtime.  Right?

The logic in his mind I’m sure was absolutely flawless until tested against the will of his mother.  Seems I remember having similar experiences growing up too.
