Great video/minor glitch
Posted by: | CommentsWhile I normally post videos I take, for some reason I cannot get the embed to work. Go figure… the computer genius can’t get his own website to work. Well to distract you from that little thorn of irony, here’s what happens when the tables get turned early on a Monday: [Link].
Should have been on the Op-Ed page…
Posted by: | CommentsScott Adams hit it out of the park with this one.
New pics on Flickr
Posted by: | CommentsThere are some new pictures from the storms we had last night up on Flickr: Link. Pretty sure we lost the entire garden due to hail and the fins on our A/C unit look like Evan beat it with Sam’s baseball bat. Otherwise no other damage that I’ve been able to see. Sample pic from last night’s storm is below:
Playing Pooh Sticks…

The boy loves the camera…
Posted by: | CommentsI swear if I put a camera in Sam’s face, when he’s in almost any mood, he will light up and be ready for some picture fun. This one was a spur of the moment shot in Marshall.
For the record…
Posted by: | CommentsFor the record, I was NOT the first parent to buy one of our sons a toy gun. This was all Holly’s doing. Honest!
Getting started…
Posted by: | CommentsI got a new camera for Father’s Day and have started to try some new techniques that the new camera will allow me to do. This one is of some lilies that we have in our front yard.
Oh really…
Posted by: | CommentsFor the first time in a while the sun was out when I drove the boys to daycare this morning. The first leg of the drive has the sun shining straight into Sam’s eyes. So he and I had a little conversation like this:
Sam: Dad, I need my sunglasses.
Me: Sam, I don’t have your sunglasses, they’re in Mom’s truck.
Sam: Yes you do.
Me: Sorry Sam I don’t. I know they are in Mom’s truck.
Sam: No Dad, yours.
I then got the look of ‘duh’ from Sam when I turned around to look at him after he asked for MY sunglasses.
It’s the quick shots that count…
Posted by: | CommentsI have to give Sam credit… he sure makes taking pictures easy sometimes.
Sometimes a little is too much…
Posted by: | CommentsDinner etiquette got scrapped shortly after we started eating tonight.
