New look… sorta
Posted by: | CommentsTrying to get a more neutral feel, so I went back to my roots and took some of the colors from my original Blogger template. Don’t get comfortable with the color choices, I’m sure I will tweak these over the next couple of days.
BTW – I found a back-up method to my ailing laptop. The benefit of using a Mac.
Partial site update…
Posted by: | CommentsApologies for the bad color mix, but my laptop froze up halfway through a site update over lunch. Look for a refresh of the site later today… I hope.
Knowing the value of a dollar…
Posted by: | CommentsSam ‘borrowed’ my sunglasses for a second walk/bike ride with the entire family this evening. The sunglasses he chose to borrow were my favorite Oakley’s I use for cycling – he obviously has good taste. Half way out on the walk/ride, he asked if he could keep my sunglasses. I gently said no he couldn’t, but then added he could have them if he had a hundred dollars. I asked him if he had a hundred dollars and Sam reluctantly said he didn’t. I said when we get home he’ll have to give my sunglasses back, unless he get Mommy to loan him a hundred dollars. Hearing this, Sam darted ahead to ask for a small loan from Holly.
Sam came up to Holly and asked if he could have a hundred dollars. Holly of course asked why he needed a hundred dollars. Sam explained why and Holly said she didn’t have a hundred dollars. Sam quickly added, ‘But Mom I don’t need a hundred dollars, I just need one dollar that has a 100 on it.’
We both giggled hard, but poor Sam didn’t understand why we were laughing at his perfectly logical request.
Beat Holly back from a bike…
Posted by: | CommentsBeat Holly back from a bike ride while she went for a walk with the Sam and Evan. Know what means? I didn’t go on a long enough ride.
Happy Birthday Mom!

We all wish you a very happy birthday Mom. Hope Dad takes you out and splurges by not using a 2 for 1 coupon on ya!
New trick…
Posted by: | CommentsSam has recently learned to snap his fingers and is willing to show anyone who is willing to watch. He’s now gotten so excited about being able to snap his fingers that he’ll walk down the hallway just snapping away.
Sometimes it feels like we’re living in a West Side Story revival.
Sure sign of spring…
Posted by: | CommentsYou know spring is coming soon when the boys hit the Gator.
Under the knife…
Posted by: | CommentsJust a quick FYI, Sam is getting his tubes in today. Holly and I are anxious to see Sam get his full hearing back. It’s got so bad that Sam sometimes think we’re mad because he can tell from our body language that we’re yelling. Only we’re yelling just so Sam can hear us.
We’re also anxious to see how the tubes themselves do. This is Sam’s 4th time getting tubes, but we’re using a new doctor. She uses a different style tube and has better personality.
Look for more updates later this week.
Having a quiet night with Evan…
Posted by: | CommentsHaving a quiet night with Evan. Graham crackers, a glass of milk, and a good episode of Star Trek TNG. Gotta start’em young.
