Most exciting part of the weekend…
BySam and Evan got to spend the weekend in Britt with Holly’s parents. First off, God bless’em for taking the boys even after Evan threw up on the way to Britt. Evan was fine after that and bounced back for the rest of the weekend. Sam, as usual, had a great time because he got to watch movies, go to Dollar General, and pretty much have it his way.
The boys got back this afternoon and it’s been a whirlwind of activity since they walked in the door. We all played outside because of the unusually warm day (56°F in late Nov) and then they came in to have dinner. During dinner we watched the Wizard of Oz on TV and then went downstairs to play. So far a pretty fun weekend.
Pretty soon it was bath time and I started getting everything ready. Sam’s job is to get his pajamas and clean underwear when it’s bath time. So Sam went into his room and started to collect what he needed for a bath. And that’s when Sam, in his own words, said was the best part of his whole weekend. Sam came running out to show me his new underwear. Sam got new underwear and it has Scooby Doo on them.
Sorry Grandma and Grandpa, I was surprised that underwear beat out Dollar General too.
