There is a difference…
ByI had to spend about 20 minutes today trying to explain to Sam that when Mom gets to pick the restaurant is not the same as when Mom cooks the dinner. Sam was adamant that since Mom got to make both decisions, it was the same thing.
I’m pretty sure Mom wouldn’t see it that way.
