Best jack o’latern of the night…
Posted by: | CommentsThere is a difference…
Posted by: | CommentsI had to spend about 20 minutes today trying to explain to Sam that when Mom gets to pick the restaurant is not the same as when Mom cooks the dinner. Sam was adamant that since Mom got to make both decisions, it was the same thing.
I’m pretty sure Mom wouldn’t see it that way.
Doing his part…
Posted by: | Comments Sam helped carve pumpkins for the first time. It took a bit of coaxing to get him to help, but he finally came around… for about 3 minutes. We, or in hindsight I, had to clean out a total of 4 pumpkins. I think Sam got at least partial credit for helping me out. After his three minutes of assistance was over he immediately went inside to wash his hands.
Something different…
Posted by: | CommentsIt’s a weird experience when you kiss your child and they taste like a McDonald’s french fry because they smeared salt and grease all over their face.
Happy Birthday Evan…
Posted by: | CommentsThe little boy is turning the big 2 today. We’re spending the day at the Children’s Museum, so look for more pics from today.
What happens after the party is over…
Posted by: | CommentsEvan’s Birthday Cake…
Posted by: | CommentsHolly did another spectacular job with the birthday cake this year. Evan's birthday cake this year was themed from his love of cooking. Evan has been playing with pans basically since he could walk. He now has a play kitchen set that he absolutely loves. I can't wait to see what she has to come up with next year.
Picture discs are in the mail…
Posted by: | CommentsTo family members waiting for CD’s from me, they went out the door today. Please note the new return address for Christmas this year. Email me if you don’t see them by end of next week.
New Flickr pics…
Posted by: | CommentsI got another round of pics uploaded to Flickr: New Pics. Special note to Verly Family members. Some of you may have got a CD without the group picture of us in front of the church for Grandma's birthday. You can find that picture here: Full Size Verly Family Pic.
