Hit skip and repeat…

Sometimes kids say the most unexpected things.  Sam and I 'share' music time on the way to daycare in the morning.  So this morning was Sam's turn to start listening to music first.  So I popped the iPhone into the FM transmitter and got it set to iPod mode.  I asked Sam what he wanted to listed to and he said he didn't want to listen to Scooby Doo. 

Whoa!  This was the first statement I didn't expect.  Sam loves (or at least up til then) listening to the Scooby Doo theme music.  So now what do we listen to?  I played the first song on the playlist and let it play.  Sam said he didn't like that song and wanted it skipped to the next one.  Skipped the song and Sam said the same thing again.  And again.  And again.

I finally asked him what do you want to listen to, because I wasn't going to play 'skip to the next song' game all the way to Ellen's.  He sat there for a few seconds and finally he said Iron Maiden.  That was the second unexpected statement.  I love my son!
