How I spent my summer vacation…

Sorry for the long pause in posts, but Holly has been keeping me busy with projects around the house.  Over the weekend we painted… and I mean we painted.  We painted the hallway, vaulted ceiling family room, the kitchen, upstairs office, and 70% of the basement.  Whew!

On the plus side, I can finally show off our finished kitchen and know that all I have to do for the rest of the summer is mow the yard, play with the kids, and go for long bike rides (and not necessarily in that order).  Here’s some pics of the finished product.
